Jo Cox and Mr Corbyn

In memoriam: Helen JoanneJoCox was murdered in June 2016, less than a fortnight before the Brexit referendum. She  was a British Labour Party politician who was the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Batley and Spen constituency.

It is absolutely remarkable how quickly Mr Corbyn forgot her. He was indeed very busy filing the cracks within the Shadow Cabinet. That makes us wonder how honest was  has paid tribute to Jo?

Lucy Worsley as Leonardo

How subtle of  Lucy Worsley! Within a BBC completely biased towards Brexit , she managed so subtle to transmit a message about the huge gap between rhetoric and reality of HM Government (Brexiteers)!

Within the series “British History’s Biggest Fibs” Lucy Worsley explores how

British history is a concoction of fibs and stories manipulated by whoever was in power at the time. She debunks the fibs that surround the ‘jewel in the crown’ of the British Empire – India.

If one replaces the 19th century “Indians” with the contemporary British people, the reality is the same! An extraordinary subtle message, deserving comparison with Michelangelo and da Vinci!

“L’enfer est plein de bonnes volontés ou désirs”

This is a saying from 1155 of  Saint Bernard of Clairvaux. Its English correspondent is “The road to hell is paved with good intentions“.

It so nicely characterise the latest position of Mr Donald Trummp, the current US President. White House spokesman Sean Spicer says Donald Trump’s immigration ban was issued with very good intentions, wshing getting ahead of threats and putting homeland security first.

In other words, moral certainty can justify the harm done by failing policies and actions.
